Long jumpers led the Wigan medal charge with Northern titles for U20 Will Jackson and U17 Lauren Hewitt.
Will took the U20 title with a leap of 6.70m whilst Lauren won a close battle to come top of the U17 Women with 5.17m.
In the Senior Long Jump it was silver for Ollie Goldthorp with 6.63. Triple jump silvers for Jack Hilton on the Senior Triple jump with 13.63 and Emma Pimblett in the U17 Women’s with 11.04m. Whilst over in the vault Claudia Berry cleared 3.10m for U17 silver.
Bronze medals were won by Corey Middleton over 60m hurdles in a pb of 8.41. Amy Hewitt in the U20 Long and Triple Jump with 5.32m and 11.15m showing a return to pre injury form. Also in the U20 women Yas Baker celebrated he recent England call up with Bronze in the shot. 11.82m. Emma Pimblett grabbed bronze in the U17 60m after running a pb of 7.79 in the semi final.
