March 2024

Season opener saw some of our athletes take on the Firefighters Duathlon in Horwich

With Kat and Alice both getting podium finishes and Sanjay and Chris getting PB’s on a

very cold and windy morning

 

 

April 2024

Over to the West Lancs Sprint Triathlon now for the first proper tri of the season

Simon and Alice both competing this time

Alice getting another podium finish and Simon finish in the top 20 of his age group

Both athletes were tested in near 35mph winds

May 2024

Early May is always the Kona of the North in Horwich again on what was glorious day in sunny Horwich as athletes made there way round Horwich and Chorley to then run up to the Pike

Club member Kat secured yet another podium finish in a time of 2:20:53 and 2nd female

Next up in May is Outlaw 70.3 in Nottingham where Simon came in with a PB of 4:53:30 finishing 12th in his age group

We had Lucy compete in the Southport Sprint Duathlon and finish in a time of 1:41:33

 

 

June 2024

This month we had the Ironman UK  70.3 at the end of the month where we had several athletes competing in this new event as Ironman have changed it from a full distance to a half distance
